Do you ever get embarrassed when someone asks how many meads you’ve tasted, and you can only say one? Or, worse yet, do you think all meads are sweet, syrupy and icky?? Do you need a really good reason to sit around and drink mead with your friends?? (Or not!) Then do we have the event for you!!

We are having a Mead Tasting Event to raise funds for the CSQ Land Fund! All money collected from this event will go toward the dream of establishing a permanent Pagan campsite in NC. A dream that has been alive since 2005, when the board presented it to the community. A dream of food gardens and sacred labyrinths. A dream of community and communion with nature. A dream that still grows in the hearts of many at Carolina Spirit Quest.

Please join us to raise money for a worthy cause; taste a diversity of locally available, tasty meads; and to learn from professional mead makers what goes into making a great mead. Sponsored and hosted by Ben and Becky Starr from Starrlight Mead in Pittsboro.

This event will be held Friday night after Opening Ritual. It has a cost of 20 dollars, and all the proceeds go directly to the land fund. Only adults aged 21 and up will be allowed to participate. Advance registration is required so we know how much mead to provide - you can select an option to participate in the registration process.
