Scholarships Available

Are you daunted by the price of attending Quest? In years past each Staff has built into their budget some money for Scholarships. Most years there have been one or two or no requests so there is money in the fund. But you have to ask for it. Write a letter to the Scholarship Committee with your contact information including e-mail address, and why you want/deserve a scholarship. Send the letter to Carolina Spirit Quest, PO Box 61335, Durham, NC 27735.

Bart Wendell Scholarship

Many of you knew Bart Wendell from past Quests and other venues. Bart passed on to the next plane shortly after Quest 2000, however, his spiritual presence in our communities remains. In his memory, CSQ has established an on-going scholarship fund. Your gifts to this fund will help others to experience Quest and to honor our ancestor, Bart.

Additionally, we are planning a permanent memorial to Bart for the CSQ Community Altar. If you shared space with Bart, or have a space that is special to you that you would like to incorporate in this remembrance, please bring a handful of DRY, LOOSE soil from this space. This blended Earth will be a perpetual part of Bart's memorial.

Sign-in on Site

Sign-in and Registration will be clearly marked and will be staffed Friday afternoon and early evening and again on Saturday morning. Please try to arrive before 8:00 PM so that none of the staff who have worked long and hard to bring you this gathering will miss the opening ritual. You must sign in upon arrival. At registration there is a large map on which you are requested to indicate your room or tent site so that your friends and others who may be looking for you know where to start. Please bring found items to Registration and seek lost ones there as soon as possible.

Quest Flyer

The Carolina Spirit Quest 2001 flyer in Portable Document Format (PDF) is available for download from the CSQ web site. It will help CSQ if you will post or distribute this flyer where Pagans and other Earth-centered religionists will see it. A version of the flyer with a colored logo is also available there. It requires the free Adobe Acrobat Reader to view and print it.
