We are pleased to announce that registration is now open for Spring
Quest 2010, âCelebrating the Joy Withinâ. This will be a weekend to
share the joy and spirit of being pagan, a weekend to live in a
village built on laughter, learning, friendship and community.
Rituals are the heart of any Carolina Spirit Quest event. Spirit is
our middle name, pun intended. This yearâs rituals have an elemental
theme and will weave the energy of the rituals, the spiritual element
of Spirit Quest through all the activities of the weekend.
We have learning circles planned on a variety of topics, including
chakras, tarot, herbs, bellydance, creating ritual, making mead, and
more! As always, we also have a fun weekend planned for the children.
This year the childrenâs learning circles will be working with the
ritual team to learn about - and play among - the elements.
In other programs, we will once again have our annual Magickal
Auction, a great way to buy one-of-a-kind items and give your support
CSQ. We will also have a gaming table available for recreation â we
invite you to bring games to share! Centrally located at the event we
will have a community altar set up for everyone to participate in. We
ask you to bring a sacred item that represents you or your path, your
deity, etc. to contribute your presence on our altar for the weekend.
On the breezeway and veranda outside the main hall will be our vending
area. Make sure to stop by and have a look at all the wonderful wares
our vendors have to offer. If you would like to vend at our event,
please contact us.
Lastly, donât forget about our Spirit Gift exchange! Remember to
bring a gift so you can receive a gift in exchange.
The best thing youâll find at Spring Quest is our sense of community.
Together we will eat, learn, laugh, sing, drum, and dance. We welcome
all pagans from every persuasion to join us for this magical weekend.
We look forward to seeing you at Spring Quest 2010!!!
